My Planet
January 2, 2010My journals are normally really with nothing much to talk about. Maybe it’s because I was not comfortable with the idea of beyond that. Now for the new year, things would be different! I’m going to make more upbeat journals and take you guys on a journey to what I’m up to. It would be fun. Now, here’s a slice of my life. Life began on a planet called Akitopia. On Earth, it’s called “My Room” or “That’s where that guy lives!? Geez…”
This is my hole…er… room’s workdesk. I draw, do homework, and sleep on this desk… What? I have a bed, but I ain’t showing you. My second bed would work just fine!
I have an 360. Not many games, but it kills the time whenever I need a fix. Beats doing drugs or drinking. With this, at least I get away with some kind of self respect. Maybe except girls… Well there’s always alternatives….. Like gaming.
These are toys. Not the kind of toys sick people use, but for more display. Minus the Vocaloid, they identify who I am. Behind those are books. Mostly from the greatest manga series to walk this very earth! Maybe right next to Berserk, but you get the point.
Lockin in, I have some other books. I was an Ikki Tousen nut back then… I wonder what possessed me to like it, especially for the worst translation known to man done by the great Tokyopop. Seriously.. Those guys deserve some kind of prize for accomplishing such a feat.
I also have a book made by one of my professors Sam Grant’s The Opposite Sex, eslevilla’s skecth book, and e1n’s Vongola History Lesson… Oh.. And a Dragonball. I’ll feel like a football player without a cup if I didn’t have ONE Dragonball.
Well that’s about all from my planet, for now. Stay tuned for more adventures, including the process of my inventions. I’m going to rule the world, you see?
Collection expanded: Calvin, One Piece, Valkyrie Profile, and *vomits*
December 24, 2009Christmas this year took nerd to a whole new level. Feeling in need of a hobby, I decided to collect some figures. Nothing expensive. Just enough to keep me sane while learning to draw. I even bought some friends and family presents. It’s not something I usually do since I had a girl in my mind the previous years. Hahahah! I’m hopeless.
Calvin and Hobbes Complete Collection is probably the greatest gift ever. It was on the wishlist so long, I just had to have it. So many pages. So many awesome. So many laughs. Calvin and Susie are cute too. I’m still on book one, about halfway through. There’s just so much to see.
I also ordered 3 One Piece Strong World SDs made by the awesome Banpresto. I ordered Luffy, Ussop and Gold Loin Shiki. Ussop and Luffy arrived first. They looked so well made, I could not wait until Gold Loin arrived. He was pretty much all I was looking forward for, until the day finally arrived… I got two boxes. One contianting Shiki, and one containing a couple of other figures I got off this good vendor on Ebay. Guess what they are? You can’t?
Heck yeah!! Valkyire Profile Trading arts. Two of the icons in the series. I saw this set about 2 years ago in a Game Informer and wanted to have atleast Lenneth and Freya. Now I do. The firgures themselves are pretty small, but the price makes the detail alone is worth it. Lenneth is a strong female lead, and Freya is a pretty cool female antagonist. I really do love what just females have in Valkyrie Profile games. Even the weaker ones have extreamly strong will, and determination… Now, enough of that..There’s one more box to open to wrap up my story.
Now it’s time the for great finale. The main villian for the latest One Piece Movie. GOLD LION SHIKI!! In this box, had the figure I was waiting for. This was it!! The Grand Finale or all finales. I opened the box… Then something inside of me went from manly to extremely pink…
Yeah, PlayAsia! What the hell? I asked for Gold Lion Shiki. I asked for it while there were 2 more left. I asked for it while it was still limited. After paying for it, I felt accomplished. There was no more in stock afterwards. I was freaking happy. Now this… THIS happens. You know what this is? This is freakin Vocaloid. The bane of my manly existence. Thank you PlayAsia! You ruined Christmas.
